A. WeWALK Smart Cane
The WeWALK smart cane can be attached to any white cane. It has an ultrasonic sensor to detect obstacles and can be paired with the mobile phone app to give the user GPS-based instructions for every turn while walking, as seen in the following video.
B. Blindsquare- Accessible Navigation: Both indoors and outdoors
BlindSquare is a GPS-based app that provides navigational information to people with vision impairment. It also describes the environment and points of interest to them. Blindsquare app can also be integrated with Bluetooth beacons to assist in indoor navigation.
